How are speed bumps marked?

The maximum speed limit on a road with speed bumps is 40 km/h. On state-owned highways that are managed by the ELY Centre, speed bumps are practically always marked using warning signs (bump + a plate with the text “hidaste”) that are erected on both sides of the road and a black-and-white marking on the road. In accordance with the Decree on Road Traffic, the warning sign must always be used when the speed limit of the road with the bump exceeds 30 km/h.
