The junction owner can purchase a mirror to improve traffic safety at its own cost. The owner of the junction is responsible for purchasing, posting, maintaining and managing the mirror. The road management authorities are not liable for any damage to the mirror as a result of maintenance activities.

A roadworks permit from the ELY Centre is required for erecting the mirror. Append a map that indicates the location of the mirror to your roadworks permit application. The roadworks permit for mirrors is free of charge (the normal price for permits is EUR 200). Processing the roadworks permit takes about 3–4 weeks.
