Why are bus stops not ploughed?

Article body content

After snowfall ends, the time frame for ploughing bus stops is four hours longer than that of the actual carriageway. Separately-agreed busy stops are ploughed when ploughing the carriageway.

With little snowfall, a bus stop may be temporarily left unploughed if the average snow depth is at least 5 cm.

The ploughing of bus stops is included in the contracting agreement. If bus stops have not been ploughed for some reason, this can be reported to the Road User Line at 0200 2100.
